A new beginning: We are taking off with a new logo and a new website

After a long period of internal restructuring and personnel changes, we are happy to be back with new energy and fresh ideas!

Since our founding in 2008, Kinder-Afrikas e.V. has been able to provide education to hundreds of children in West Africa thanks to the unwavering support of our sponsors, members and donors. Especially in Liberia, one of the poorest countries in the world, access to education is a precious commodity denied to many families. Our mission to open the door to a self-determined future for these children is more relevant today than ever.

Our school in Bong Mines, which opened in March 2015, and the associated facilities such as the kindergarten, preschool and school feeding program, have proven to be sustainable and have established themselves as an important building block for the education of children and young people in the region. We are especially proud that the first students who started their school career with us in 2015 will graduate in 2024. A very special moment for all of us!

Despite the many changes in the organization and the global challenges of recent years, our dedicated team led by Anthony Collins has kept the school running in Liberia and ensured that our students can continue to learn and grow. Now that we are fully operational, we want to intensify our efforts and not only improve the quality of our teaching and learning conditions, but also launch new projects. One of these is the introduction of basic medical training for our students.

In order to realize these ambitious plans, we need your support. We invite you to become a part of our renewed mission as a sponsor, member, donor or volunteer. Every contribution counts and enables us to create opportunities for the children of Bong Mines.

As a visible sign of change, we have completely redesigned our website and given our logo a fresh coat of paint.

Thank you for your support and trust in our work.

Your team from Kinder Afrikas e.V.
